How do I properly care for my candle?
  • When lighting your candle for the first time, burn for at least 2 hours to allow the top of the wax to melt completely. This will prevent tunneling!
  • Always trim your wick before each use.
  • Don't leave your candle burning for longer than 3 hours at a time and always burn on an even, heat safe surface.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep out of reach of flammable objects, pets, children, or anything that may catch on fire.
  •  Stop use when only 1/4” of wax remains. Wash tin and re-use or recycle :)

Are your candles non-toxic?

  • Absolutely. That has been our mission + top priority from the beginning. We use only the highest quality fragrance oils in our candles that are tested + certified clean - free of phthalates, carcinogens, reproductive toxins + more. We use 100% pure soy wax (no paraffin!), lead free cotton wicks + FSC certified wood wicks.

What do I do if my wood wick won't stay lit?

  • We absolutely love wooden wicks because they provide a unique and extra cozy candle burning experience, but they can be a bit finicky and require more maintenance than your regular cotton wicks. There are a few reasons why your wood wick might be flaming out:
  1. You may need to trim your wick. We recommend keeping your wick trimmed between 1/8" - 3/16". Fingernail clippers work great if you don't have a wick trimmer!
  2. Some wood wicks can take a few goes to get started. A few relights may be required but once lit, it should burn well!
  3. Since wood wicks are wider in size than cotton wicks, we recommend you light the wick all the way across, as opposed to just one end.
  4. Hold your lighter on the wick for about 5-8 seconds to ensure a good light.
Can I recycle my candle tins?
  • Yes! Our candle tins are made in the USA and 100% recyclable. Simply clean out your tin with hot water to re-use or recycle.
Do you donate to any charities?
  • We donate $1 from every sale to local non-profit animal rescues, a cause we are very passionate about. ❤️
